Hotel Plaza
Cuatro Ciénegas Pueblo Mágico 'Magic Town' is a historic village with an enormous diversity of endemic flora and fauna, and lagoons that have the peculiarity of being surrounded by the desert. The hotel was founded in 1950 and since then it has been one of the best in the area.

Challenge
Remodeling a hotel located in the heart of the heritage village. The remodeling program included a cafeteria, a central patio, a restaurant, a bar, a bakery, and a souvenir shop.
The Strategy
The desert was a key inspiration for the conceptualization of the project.
We interviewed expert scientists and locals to understand the context and its importance, which was then translated into the design and selection of natural materials.
