Challenge
The city of León, Mexico is renowned for its leather tannery work, where factories generate huge amounts of scraps of leather that could potentially have a second life. The main challenge was finding a better use to leftover scraps of
leather.
Impact
Over 500 products do their bit to make the world more sustainable while making homes pretty.
The Strategy
I designed a curated selection of 14 unique pieces inspired by hand-made artisan work while exploring leather as the main material.
I also use leftover building materials such as marble and wood.
The products can be personalized according to the customer, which made them very popular in the home décor industry; that is how the idea of creating a brand came up.
